SCHOOL : PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY DEGREE : BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS YEAR COMPLETED : MAY 2020 The study was conducted to identify the economic analysis of agricultural land conversion in Concepcion, Tarlac. The respondents were within the average age of 51 years old. The researcher used a random sampling procedure covering (5) barangays San Antonio, San Vicente, San Martin, Sta. Maria, Sto. Nifio with seven (7) respondents each, which comprised a total of 35 respondents. Most of them were male and married. In terms of household sizes, 1 to 5 family members. High school graduate and high school level tied up in the highest educational attainment of the respondents. Respondents have an average of one (1) hectare of land. High cost of inputs was the main source of land conversion. It presented that a normal Filipino farmer can earn at least 5,000 to 10,000 pesos per month based on the study. Land price after conversion was 3, 500 pesos per square meter. It showed that majority of respondents, 83.87% were converted their land into residential areasThe labor cost for dry season were the average land preparation was Php.2, 328 per planting it has an average Php.S, 129 and for harvesting it comprise an average of Php. 5,336, while the material cost dry season was depending on the size of the land area that will be used in planting. The labor cost for wet season was, the average cost for the land preparation was Php. 2,310.40, as for planting it has an average cost of Php. 5,129.00 and Php. 3, 334.50 in harvesting. In the material cost the average cost of the seeds was Php. 5,486.40, as for the fertilizer used for planting it has an average cost of Php. 7,845.40. In pesticide's, the average cost was Php. 4,128.6 and for the fuel it cost Php. 714.4 In addition, the total cost of production that was used for dry season was Php. 9,245.20, with a gross income of Php.50,960.00 and the total net mcome of Php. 41,714.80. The total cost of production in wet season was Php. 8,135.00 with a gross income of Php. 34, 980 and a total net income of Php. 26,845.00. The average land price before conversion was Php. 1011.20 per square meters while the average cost after the land conversion was Php. 2,646.70 per square meter. The average cost of agricultural land conversion was Php.1, 334, 839.00, while the average net income of the converted agricultural land per month was Php. 175,863.00. The data shows that 68.57% of the economic effects of the Agricultural Land Conversion were to make land operational ER -
