Specifically, it sought to describe the pronunciation performance of grade _ ten students, and if there is a significant difference between the performance of male and female respondents. Using random sampling method, the researcher chose the grade ten students of San Miguel Academy to be the respondents of this study: the respondents answered the questionnaire and after that they took turn reading the sentences. Descriptive Statistics and Inferential Statistics were used to know the performance of grade ten students and to determine if there is or there is no significant difference between the performance of male and female respondents in pronouncing words with /a/, /e#/ and /as/ in sentences. T-test for Independent and One-Way ANOVA were used to analyze the score of the respondents. The result revealed that respondents had a very good performance in pronouncing words with /a/ and /a/ sounds while Fair in /#/ sound. T-test revealed that there is no Significant difference between male and female respondents in pronouncing words with /a/ and /xe/ sounds while there is Significant difference between male and female respondents in pronouncing words with /a/ sound.
