This descriptive study was conducted to identify and classify the different species of plankton in Candaba Swamp, Pampanga as they are related to ecological factors. Specifically, it aimed to determine the plankton species present in the Candaba Swamp, how they differ in terms of morphological characteristics, and how ecological factors related to species richness as well as species diversity of the plankton communities. Twenty seven species were identified and classified in the three study sites of Paralaya, San Agustin and Center of Donya Simang. The 27 species were distributed into 5 kingdoms, 10 phyla, 13 classes, 19 orders, and 22 families. The occurrence of these plankton were affected by the ecological factors such as temperature, pH, turbidity, Salinity, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen.
