The study was conducted to determine the growth performance of bignai seedlings in relation to application of HI-Q VAM 1 and organic fertilizer from December 2017 to February 2018 at the Clonal Nursery, Department of Forestry and Agro-Forestry, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Magalang, Pampanga. Three hundred (300) seedlings of bignai were used. Treatments were arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) using (Four) 4 treatments; T1-control, T2 - application of HI - Q VAM 1 (2.5 grams) once during planting, T3 - application of bioorganic fertilizer (10 grams) for every 25 days and T4 - application of HI - Q VAM 1 (2.5 grams) + Dbio-organic fertilizer (10 grams) for every 25 days. The treatments are replicated three times. Statistics revealed that seedlings applied with 2.5g of HI-Q VAM 1 resulted to significantly higher number of leaves produced 25 days after fertilization than the other treatments, at 5% significant level. On the other hand, applying 2.5g HI-Q VAM 1 and 10g bio-organic fertilizer resulted to significantly higher number of leaves produced 75 days after fertilization, at 1% significant level. Therefore, application of 2.5g HI-Q VAM 1 and 10g bio-organic fertilizer is recommended for growth and development of A. bunius seedlings in the nursery ER -
