This study is designed to examine the relationship between the factors that affect the student-athletes' performance and their performance in the regional competition. This descriptive correlation research was participated by 9 male and 11 female students-athletes who answered the modified questionnaire of Morales (2014) titled "Factors Affecting Student-Athletes in their Sports Performance". Descriptive analysis and correlation analysis were employed. Results indicated that student athletes strongly agree that all the factors affect their sports performance especially personal factor, administrative factor and academic factor. The student-athletes' profile is not associated with their performance rank. Meanwhile, only personal factor and administrative factor were significantly related to the sports. Furthermore, based from the findings, a proposed model framework for the successful performance of student athletes was designed emphasizing more importance to personal factors and administrative factors while showing also the other factors supporting the development of the athlete in terms of training and competition. The model framework could be used as a viable tool to guide the sports administrators and coaches while appropriate adjustments may be made as the need arises.
