This study aimed to screen and test neem tree and jathropha for aqueous leaf extract potential molluscicides against golden apple snail. The study used 210 golden apple snails distributed into 7 treatment groups with 3 replications, Complete Randomized Design (CRD). A 100 ml aqueous extracts of each plant at 100%, 50% and 1:1 combination of the two extracts were used as treatments into the basin which mimics the rice field set up. Bionet was used as the positive control and distilled water as the negative control. Based on the results of the study it was revealed that the 100% and 50% neem tree leaf aqueous extract was more effective than the 100% and 50% of jathropa leaf aqueous extract and the 1:1 ratio combination of the two plants in killing the golden apple snails. Also, results revealed that the 100% and 50% neem tree aqueous extract has the highest significant effect on the mortality rate and time interval on the golden apple snails. The lethality concentration of neem tree and jathropa aqueous extract, after 96 hours of treatment on the LC50 neem tree, exhibited a low average value; while jathropa exhibited high average value, this means that neem tree is more potent than jathropa. On the other hand, the LC90 neem tree drawn the same results of the LC50 shows low average value, while jathropa shows a high average value. Hence, the neem tree is more potent than the jathropa and the neem tree shows a more potent effect in both concentrations.
