The study, "A GIS-Based Spatial Distribution of Horizontal Geodetic Control Points in Mexico, Pampanga" was conducted to provide an easier, faster more accurate and hassle-free data-gathering process in land surveying. The researcher chose the municipality of Mexico, Pampanga because of its large scope of agricultural and residential area that needs a high demand of land survey. By the use of observation and internet as researching techniques, the researcher was able to come up with an easier and more efficient way of providing information about horizontal geodetic control points of Mexico, Pampanga through the creation of a database using QGIS to compile all the maps and information obtained from RMA Surveying and Construction Consultancy Services, the contractor responsible for the cadastral survey of Mexico, Pampanga which is a project of the DENR. The existence of these points was validated by the researcher on the ground using the real time kinematic instrument. Then, the researcher was able to develop the web-based map that can actually feed information needed about all the geodetic horizontal control points of the whole municipality of Mexico, Pampanga that can be accessed as long as there is an available internet connection. Through this study, the researcher was also able to conclude that, thru validation, some of the horizontal geodetic control points were missing because of human reasons such as intentional removal due to road widening, establishment of drainage systems and conflicts between private properties.
