ABSTRACT MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS OF CAUT FARMERS FIELD SCHOOL MARKETING COOPERATIVE TITLE AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL ERIKA JANE SUAREZ AGUSTIN LESLIE V. TORRES, MPS PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS DEGREE : YEAR COMPLETED : JUNE 2023 The study was conducted at Caut Farmers Field School Marketing Cooperative located at Barangay Caut, La Paz, Tarlac. The study provided more details about the management operations of cooperatives in terms of investment, organization, operation, marketing, and finance. The information and data that were gathered from the study will act as a resource for others who want to engage in the same firm. The primary data that were gathered by means of personal interview with the Chairman of Caut Farmers Field School Marketing Cooperative. Specifically, the information gathered were in the areas of (1) organization, which includes organizational structures, tasks, and responsibilities, as well as allowances; (2) investment, which consists of machines that is grant by the Departmnent of Agriculture; (3) operation, which contains area and location, firm inputs, and operation process (4) marketing, which consists of 7c's; (5) finance, which consists of income statement and statement of financial position. Secondary information was gathered from the internet, books, and other reading materials available in Pampanga State Agricultural University Library. The Caut Farmers Field School Marketing Cooperative is a cooperative type of business. The problem and identification analysis were done regarding the marketing and operation of the firm. The following are the problems encountered by the firm (1) in marketing, (a) competition against traders and (b) farmers/members are having difficulty paying for the rental of equipment. (2) In operation, (a) Lack of labor when it comes to harvesting mung bean. Alternative courses of action are formulated and evaluated to determine a possible solution to recommend for the problem given. To find a potential solution to suggest for the problem presented., alternative courses of action are formulated and assessed. Based on assessment, the following are recommended to improve the marketing and operation of CFF Marketing Cooperative ; for marketing first identified problem, the firm should provide members with training and seminars and for the second identified problem, the farmers will be informed by the cooperative that the rent will be deducted from their earnings following harvest if they do not have the money to pay yet; for the operation identified problem, the percentage of laborers' income during harvest should increase.
