ABSTRACT Lugtu, May Flor B. May 2023. KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AND OF THE PRACTICES AGRICULTURAL CHEMICAL CONTAINERS OF FARMERS IN MAGALANG, PAMPANGA. Pampanga State Agricultural University. TOWARDS THE PROPER MANAGEMENT Adviser: Evelyn B. Cajucom, M.Chem. The use of agricultural chemicals has been an integral part of agricultural production and sustainable management of these agricultural emptied containers must be observed. This study assessed the farner's knowledge, attitude and practices in terms of managing agricultural chemical containers. A total of 245 farmer's from 10 barangays in Magalang served as respondents in this study. The descriptive-correlational type of research was used in the study. Frequency and percent distribution, median, chi-square, Pearson's r, Spearman's rho and Cramer's V were utilized in analyzing the data. Based on the rescarch findings, majority of the respondents are males 90.6%, 42.9% of them have the age range of 4 1-50 ycars old, 82.9% of the respondents are clementary graduates, and 58.0% of them own their own land. Morecover, the study revealed that 53.1% of the respondents have 11-20 years of farming experience, 98.8% of them have a monthly income of less than 10, 957 and 97.1% of them have a yearly harvest of 3,600 to 3,800 mHa. In terms of the relationship between the respondents knowledge and attitude towards managing the emptied agricultural chemical containers, the study's findings with a p-value .835 indicates that attitude of the respondents is not dependent on their knowledge. In addition, the respondents' knowledge and practices had a p-value of.001, which means that the respondents' knowledge is dependent on their practices. Moreover, the p-value for attitude and practices about managing empticd agricultural chemical containers was .000 which indicates that the attitude of the farmers is dependent on their practices.
