ABSTRACT David, Leonard Peregrine N., Esguerra, Kenneth S., Tolentino, Nicole C. Department of Computer Studies and Autormation - College of Engineering and Computer Studies, Pampanga State Agricultural Uníversity, Magalang Pampanga. June 2023. "Web - based Medical Supplies Tracking and Monitoring Using Barcode Reader for PSAU Infirmary". Adviser: Dr. Raquel B. Rivera This study entitled "Web-Based Medical Supplies Tracking and Monitoring Using Barcode Reader for PSAU Infirmary" aims to help PSAU Infirmary to reduce the manual inventory of their supply by monitoring their systems using this easy scan barcode reader. One of its main features which is to monitor and notify the item's status is to set up a database that would be connected to a barcode scanner. In developing this system, the researchers utilized agile methodology and prototyping that make the system Reliable, Usable, Efficient, and Functioníng. There are two groups of respondents: IT Experts, PSAU Infirmary. The IT experts are composed of 3 respondents, similar to the PSAU Infirmary who are the admin of the study. Data was also gathered from PSAU Infirmary. Interview, survey, and observation questionnaire are the used research instrumet. The locale of this study is the PSAU Infirmary. Upon the completion of data gathering, the researchers concluded that the stated objectives are met. The researchers drew the conclusion that the monitoring scanner barcode reader inventory is needed based on the results received from the T specialists, with an overall mean score of 4.28 and interpreted as strongly agree. The users' feedback, which had an overall mean score of 4.80 and interpreted as strongly, led the researchers to draw the conclusion that the monitoring inventory had attained functioning and accomplished its goals. Regarding to the PSAU Infirmary, the total mean is 4.93, supporting the user's response of Strongly Agree. The researchers concluded that the monitoring scanner barcode reader inventory helps the users of the Infirmary to manage their work faster and provide an efficient result due to the proposed system.
