WORKBOOK FOR GRADE 8 SCIENCE Abstract Workbooks make it possible for students to continue their studies at home, but a shortage of such resources has been consistently linked to students' poor performance, particularly in Science. Workbooks have been intended to make teaching more interesting, provide students with material appropriate for their needs and interests, and serve as a replacement for material that would normally be used in their class for the subject during times of pandemic and natural disasters. The purpose of this research was to develop and validate a workbook in science for grade 8. Purposive sampling was used to identify the validators of the study where ten science teachers evaluated the Grade 8 Science issue that have been included in the workbook using Lawshe's content validity formula. The expert identified 17 out of 48 learning competencies as essential. Furthermore, the evaluators claimed that they based their selection of the essential topics on the Most Essential Learning Competencies. Following that, there were five validators' who assessed the workbook's content, design/format, and pedagogical effectiveness. In addition to this, there was one proofreader who assessed the overall content structure, as well as one English critic who assessed the workbook for grammatical errors. Findings revealed that the developed workbook in Science 8 was valid and acceptable. In addition, every indicator included in the previously stated criteria was satisfied. Hence, the workbook that was designed for grade 8 science has valid material that may be utilized by the students who are supposed to use it.
