ABSTRACT ALEXANDER J. CARREON, RICKY Y. ORPIADA II, LIBERATO B. YTURRALDE. July 2022. LAYING PERFORMANCE OF JAPANESE SEATTLE QUAILS (Coturnix japonica) FED DIET SUBSTITUTED WITH LEMON GRASS AND OREGANO LEAF MEAL. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Animal Science. Pampanga State Agricultural University, PAC, Magalang, Pampanga. Adviser: FRANCISCO B. SIMBULAN Jr., M.S.A. The study was conducted for 48 days at Sto. Nifio, Magalang, Pampanga to examine the laying performance of Japanese Seattle Quail's diet fed substituted with lemon grass and oregano leaf meal. A two-factorial experiment in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was used in the study. Factor A was the type of leaf meal and, Factor B was the level of leaf meal. A total of two hundred seventy (270) ready to lay Japanese Seattle Quails were used in the experiment. Results indicated that the total egg production, percentage hen housed production, total egg weight, feed conversion ratio per kg mass were not significantly influenced by lemon grass and oregano leaf meal and even the total feed consumed by the quails were not significantly affected by the type of leaf meal.
