BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BIOLOGY MAJOR IN MICROBIOLOGY Pampanga State Agricultural University Adviser: Janet D. Hidalgo, M.A.Ed. This study aimed to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practices of the residents in Barangay Dolores, Magalang, Pampanga towards handling and consuming raw and boiled carabao's milk. The relationship between profile and knowledge scores, attitude, and practices was determined. An extension activity was formulated to promote awareness in handling and consuming raw and boiled carabao's milk. A total of 29 respondents participated in the study and the collection of data was done via Google Form. House-to-house survey interview was also conducted from April 9 to April 10, 2022. Majority of the respondents were male with a 55.77% frequency and majority of the respondents were in the High School level with a 58.62% frequency. For the age of the respondents, mostly were 45 to 58 years old, which comprise of 58.62% of the respondents. Majority were housewives and farmers, each with frequency of 19.4%. The assessment of knowledge, attitude, and practices of the respondents showed that they have basic knowledge, with overall mean of 2.63, which agrees with the statements for their attitude with overall mean of 2.61, and always perform good practices with overall mean of 3.37 towards in handling, consuming and storing in relation to microbial quality of carabao's milk. The relationship of the profile and the KAP of the respondents were analyzed using the Kendali's tau and Chi-square. No Significant relationship was found between the KAP of the respondents and their profile. For future researches, the microbial quality of carabao's milk may be monitored regularly to secure the safety of consuming carabao's milk in Barangay Dolores, Magalang, Pampanga.
