That being the case, this study generally aimed to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes and practices of the local rice farmers in Lacmit, Arayat, Pampanga regarding the usage of inorganic fertilizers. Raosoft sample size calculator was used to compute the sample size; a total of 103 respondents were chosen randomly. A quantitative descriptive method research design was utilized in the study to measure the data in the form of survey questionnaires, which was done via Google form. Findings revealed that 94.17% of the total respondents were male rice farmers aged 40 year-old and above; 49.51% reached secondary level as their highest educational attainment; and 70.87% experienced attending a session or seminar from the agricultural technicians who visits the Barangays. With regards to knowledge, most of the respondents are not aware on the effects of inorganic fertilizer in environment and human health. However, based on the results of the attitude, 100% of the respondents are willing to learn of the right use of inorganic fertilizer. In addition, based on the practices, 100% of the respondents mix two inorganic fertilizers (UREA and Tripple 14) per crop. There is also a relationship between the respondents' civil status, age, and experienced of attending a sessions or seminar from the agricultural technician to knowledge, attitude and practices of the respondents. Based on the result of the study, it is necessary to disseminate information on the possible risks of improper application of fertilizer such as tarpaulin or brochure per purok or street to make farmers aware of the potential problem of inappropriate fertilizer application.
