This study was conducted at Barangay Pampang, Angeles City, Pampanga from July 05 to July 10, 2021. This study aimed to assess the awareness and practices of solid waste management in Pampang, Angeles City, Pampanga using two standardized survey questionnaires. To assess the level of awareness and practices of the participants on the solid waste management questionnaire were adopted from Perla Bautista (2019). Descriptive statistics, mean and rank, were used to describe the gathered data. Inferential statistics such as Sphearman's rho was used to determine the magnitude of the relationship between variables. Perception of the respondents was measured using a five point Likert scale with its numerical scale, statistical limits, and verbal description. The findings of the study showed that the selected residents were aware of the solid waste management as evidenced with the mean of 3.68. Most of them were aware of the policies and management of SWM with 3.6 mean but relatively not aware of their roles as citizen in the implementation of SWM especially in joining clean-up drives in the community with 1.26 mean. The selected residents also have good practices in solid waste management in terms of recycling, segregation and reusing but moderately practice proper disposing of SW and reducing. Results of the Sphearman's rho statistics revealed that the level of awareness of the selected residents has no significant influenced on their practices on solid waste management while the results for the key informant showed a ' significant influenced. Present findings can be a basis for policy development on SWM implementation in the Municipalities of Pampang, Angeles City, Pampanga.
