PAMINTUAN, MADALENE G. August 202!. HOME BASED BROILER RAISING UNDER SUMMER CONDITIONS. Pampanga State Agricultural University, PAC, Mayalang. Pampanga. Adviser: Prof. SEGUNDO N. GOLIN The student training program conducted for 39 days from April 12 to May 20, 2021 at San Antonio, Concepcion, Tarlac. Cobb broiler was the strain of broiler that were raised during the student training. The broiler chicks were bought for P38.00 per bird at Flores 45 Days Farm located at City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The broiler grower pen was used to house the broilers and constructed with coco lumber wood, bamboo slats and green plastic screen. Integra Chick Booster 1000, Integra Starter 2000 and Integra Finisher 3000 were used to feed the broilers. Electrogen and Sagupaan multi-vitamin were the medication used to the broilers. The birds were sold at the age of 39 days with an average weight of 1.5 kg. Small scale viajeros bought the birds at P100.00 per kilogram live weight. Average final weight at 39 days was 1,502.4 grams, Feed Conversion Ratio was 1.31 FCR, Average Daily Gain in weight was 37.2 grams, and Percent Mortality was 27%. Total Cost of Production was P 13,865.50, Gross Income was P 11,600.00. Net Income was P -2265.50 and Return of Investment was - 16.34 % ROL.
