The Networked Biometric System for Attendance Monitoring was design and develop to monitor the daily attendance of the faculty of College of Resource Engineering, Automation and Mechanization (CREAM). It aims to design and develop a system that would help the faculty avoid loss of the saved attendance records. The specific objectives are: to records log-in and out of the employees; to view the record of the employee's attendance; to generate report of daily and monthly attendance; to automatically marked the latest absences; to manually configures the leave of absences. The researchers used different types of research instruments such as the interview, Internet research, library research and questionnaires to gather these were used to collect data in the process of system development. The data gathered from the questionnaires were processed for the statistical procedure to obtain the objectives to the locale. Diagrams was used to represent and understand the process, functions and the flow of the system such as the Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Use-Case Diagram and System flowchart were used as a visual presentation of the process, flow and functions of the study and system. The system was tested to fulfill the completion of the system. The respondents evaluated the developed system using the questionnaires. The result of the study was positive because based on the post-evaluation the overall grand mean was 3.0 interpreted as Agree. Therefore, it was concluded that the system really helped the respondents to agreed that the Networked Biometric System for Attendance Monitoring was reliable and helpful for the locale.
