This farm practice was conducted at Winer Farm Development Corporation, located at barangay San Jose Magalang, Pampanga. The farm practice was conducted from April 18, 2018 o May 29, 2018. The main objective of the farm practice was to provide the student with the actual Experience, knowledge and skills needed in swine production. During the farm practice, the student-trainee was able to apply all the knowledge and Theories he learned from the school. The farm practice program helped the student trainee gain valuable knowledge in commercial hog production. He also learned the basic management practices involved in feeds and feeding, cleaning and sanitation, medication and vaccination, Breeds and breeding, assistance the sow during farrowing, ear tagging, castration, tail docking and Medication of sick piglets. The knowledge and experiences have opened the eyes of the student-trainee in the Importance of good management practices in swine production. The student-trainee concluded the farm practice was a big help to gained experiences and On how to perform the actual practices in operating and managing the swine farm.
