The researchers conducted the study at the I.T. Building of the Department of Computer Studies and Automation. The study designed a prototype, developed a Web-Based Scheduling System that designated to the admin. Its main objective is to develop an automated system that will control the on and off switch controls of the laboratory rooms in the department. The admin sets the schedule of the faculty per laboratory and each of the 6 rooms in the prototype of the study has a module that controls the turning on and off of the appliances. In addition, the study also allows the flow of the electricity based on the schedule of the faculty. The appliances will automatically switch off based on the time out of the faculty. An android application was also used in the study for faculty that triggers the appliances to switch on and off. Lastly, the system tested and evaluated in terms of functionality and usefulness. The researchers used the Iterative method for the research design of the study. Data was collected through interview, internet research, library research and questionnaires or survey. Analytical tools were also used in designing the system such as System Flow Diagram and Block Diagram. The researchers used hardware devices such as Wemos, Relays, Raspberry Pi, and router in designing the prototype. The researchers also used Arduino, PHP programming language, C++ programming language and Android Studio in developing the system. Based on the results of the study, the overall grand mean of the study was 3.70 which means the respondents strongly agreed that the developed system was beneficial, functional and useful. The validation of the 3 IT experts evaluates the application with the grand mean of 3.67 this clearly proved the efficiency and functionality of the application.
