This study aimed to develop and evaluate Alas-dose Festival Dance that can be used as one of the examples of Festival dances, a lesson in MAPEH 9 for the Junior High School and H.O.P.E. 2 for the Senior High School. The researcher developed the Alas-dose Festival dance and it was evaluated by the experts. Based on the evaluation of the expert, the Aesthetic is acceptable which means the piece notes an abundance of creative ideas and the composer demonstrates a smart awareness of electronic and craft consistently reformulated into the new musical knowledge. Creativity is also accepted which means it includes very original, unusual, or imaginative musical ideas; it also explores at least two musical ideas. Musical form evaluated accepted by the experts who demonstrate expertise in advanced musical forms, and ability to extend musical forms in new directions exists. The music of alas-dose festival dance based on the evaluation of the experts is accepted. Some of the experts commented that the music is simple yet entertaining, the consistency of the musical idea from the beginning until the end of the piece and there is a great combination of music and steps. Most of the experts accepted theme/focus and movement abstraction, which is considered as the strength of the dance steps, and accepted with revision other criteria like timing/beat and style and technique. The researcher made an adjustment with these criteria. Some fo the experts commented that the dance steps are relevant and original, the traditional style of the dance is shown in every routine and different steps. However, expert commented that the head movements were a little off and are usually seen on another festival. The researcher made a slight revision based on the evaluation and comment of the experts.
