The main purpose of the study was to create a system that will help in solving the problem of the rural areas of Magalang. As revealed in the interview conducted by the researchers, too much computations and manual process topped the lists of the patient's complaints. Most of the time a lot of patient's are struggling on how to set an appointment to the doctors. The objectives in creating the study was to create a system that will help patients from remote areas in Magalang search and set appointment to the doctors. Most of the patients in remote areas in Magalang have hard time to set an appointment to the doctors. Although they are fully guided by their nurse, most of them are still having a hard time in doing it because some nurse has another patients also. The study composed of a web-based system. The system will provide detailed guidelines on how the patient's set an appointment to the doctors by help of the nurse. It will also provide basic System Analysis and Design (SAD) lessons, wherein the system will serve as instructional material for the subject. Code Igniter Framework is used in creating the system. MySQL was used databases, PHP, Hyper-Text Mark-up Language (HTML), Java Script, Cascading Syle Sheets (CSS) and bootstrap was employed in designing the system. The descriptive method was used to collect information about the study. The research instrument used included interviews, internet researches and questionnaires, to determine the problems in the rural areas in Magalang and come up with a solution. To prove the usefulness of the system for the Rural Areas in Magalang, the researchers studied and analyzed the gathered data to develop a Telemedicine-based Medical Network System that will solve the problem from the Rural Areas in Magalang. Based on the statistical analysis, the respondents strongly agreed that the proposed Design and Model Development of Telemedicine-Based Medical Network for Rural Areas of Magalang was generally beneficial an efficient in scheduling processing, check-up online reservation, and the nurse and doctor are connected to each other for scheduling and viewing the patient's diagnostic record. As the system were tested, doctors and nurses were satisfied in using the system because it is user friendly and possessed no difficulty to doctors and nurses who use it.
