This study aimed to develop and evaluate contextualized laboratory manual for the grade 8 students. The study used developmental research design to describe the processes involved in performing the instructional design, development and evaluation activities. The contextualized laboratory manual was evaluated by the experts and teachers in Science 8 who were chosen purposively. The following parameters were considered: content, format, presentation and organization and accuracy and up-to-datedness of information. It was found out that the developed manual adhere to the criteria and was considered very satisfactory by the experts. In addition, the manual was free from conceptual, factual, grammatical, computational and typographical errors. In summary, the laboratory was recommended for school use.
