A farm practice was conducted at Boston Ridge Farm, Sitio Mano Brgy. Anupul Bamban, Tarlac from April 24, 2019 to June 03, 2019. The farm practice allowed the student-trainee to learn different management practices. Such as heat detection, semen collection, artificial insemination, castration, tail docking, cutting of the needle teeth, and medication of the farm animals. The student trainee's experiences in the farm gave him knowledge on management of swine production that he can apply in the future. The student trainee concluded that the farm practice is a great opportunity to experience the farm operation. It helped the student to improve his skills and knowledge in raising animals. The entire experiences in the farm operation serve as an exploration of abilities and application of techniques and proper was of farm management.
