A study in Purok 5 Barangay Talimundok, Sta. Maria, Magalang, Pampanga was conducted from January 27, 2020 to April 26 to determine the Performance of Sweet Sorghum as Forage crop, a high yielding variety, in response to the different nitrogen sources and planting distance during the dry season stage. Four nitrogen sources and three planting distance were applied to the study. These four nitrogen sources were F1 - Control (No nitrogen applied), F2 - Inorganic nitrogen, F3 - Organic nitrogen which was Chicken Manure and F4 - 50% of Inorganic Nitrogen and 50% of Chicken Manure. Planting distance used were D1 - 15 cm, D2 - 20 cm, D3 - 25 cm. It was laid out in a Split-Plot in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance anddifferences were determined using Least Significant Difference (LSD). A significant difference was obtained among all the treatment means in terms of Actual Number of Plants. Stalk Diameter, Total Dry Mass and Plant Height (cm) at 30 days. Highest actual number of plants, biggest stalk diameter and highest total dry mass and plant height were noted in treatment F4 while lowest results were noted in treatment F1. The rest of the growth and herbage parameters were found not significant among the treatment means. Cost and return analysis showed that treatment F4 has the highest return on investment.
