The aimed of this study is to identify the permanent danger zone of Mount Arayat, the affected areas in Magalang in every alert levels, the path that the lava may follow and the possible location of the evacuation center on Magalang in case of Mount Arayat eruption. The main reference for this study is the Mount Pinatubo because it is the same type of volcano with the Mount Arayat. GIS provided tools in mapping and anaysis needed in the study. With the use of GIS, it helps in automating the long process of mapping a large area. The google earth images and the barangay boundaries from the Project NOAH were used as base map. The identified permanent danger zone of Mount Arayat in this study is the minimum 4 km radius distance and the 1 km interval in every alert level. Almost half of the area of Magalang is covered by the danger zones when it is in the last alert level. The path that the lava may follow was directed to two barangays of Magalang that may cause a higher risk other than the rest affected areas. The possible evacuation centers are at least from 11 km away from the center of the Mount Arayat or more.
