| General note | Abstract This study aimed to develop and validate a Localized Module in Phy sical Education 1 (PATHFit ). Descriptive and rescarch development method were used to develop and validate the module. Fourteen (14) Physical Education instructors handling PATHFit I subject responded to the validation for the topics to be included in the module. These instructors carme from local colleges in Angeles City and Mabalacat City and from a state uníversity from the province of Pampanga. The Pampanga State Agricultural University "Evaluation Instrument for topics to be included in the DE/ODel modules", was utilized to validate the content. The "Evaluation Rating Sheet for DE and ODel modules" from the same university was also utilized to validate the module. The PATHFITI MODULE was developed according to CHED Policies, Standards, and Guidelines for Implementing Tertiary Physical Education: Physical Activity Towards Health and Fitness (PATHFIT) Courses. Based on the results of the first and second validation, the PATHFit 1 module has conformed to the criteria as to content, design, and pedagogical. The PATHFit 1 module can be considered as instructional material in teaching PATHFit 1. Keywords: Localized, PATHFIL I Module, Physical Education. |
