A quantitative approach using a survey questionnaire was disseminated to 72 beneficiaries from Barangay San Jose Floridablanca, Pampanga. Statistical tools like the percentage for the respondents' socio-demographic profiles, frequency of distribution for the effectiveness; and Pearson Chi-square test to analyze the correlation between the respondents' socio-demographic profile versus perceived effectiveness; frequency of exposure versus perceived effectiveness. Findings of the study have revealed that the respondents are always exposed to the communication strategies employed by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office Livelihood Program for Solo Parents. Pearson chi-square test revealed that there is a high significant relationship between respondents' frequency of exposure and the effectiveness of the communication strategies employed in the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office Livelihood Program for Solo Parents. Since the communication strategies have been proven effective, the MSWD should continue to incorporate the existing communication strategies for future livelihood programs.
