General note ABSTRACT Juanatas, Ivan P., Dabu Maria Cicilia M., and Vasquez, Syvelle Anne M. Department of Computer Studies and Automation and College of Engineering and Computer Studies, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Magalang. Pampanga. April 2023. "WEB-BASED INFORMATION MANAGEMENT OF SWEET TAMARIND PRODUCTION FOR PSAU. " Adviser: Dr. Johnny L. Miranda The Web-Based Information Management of Sweet Tamarind Production for PSAU was conducted to improve the knowledge of tamarind farming and resolve the complication of farmers and aspiring farmers with insufficient expertise in agriculture. The study was produced with the cooperation of the Tamarind RDE Center of Pampanga State Agricultural University, where all the data came from. This study aims to provide a web-based information management system for sweet tamarind farming, a cost and return analysis tool for tamarind production for the local farm owners or investors, students, and farmers to see the total expenses and income, user management for users with different access control of the system and with a proper design and functionality. The study was conducted using a descriptive research approach to collect data through interviews, survey questionnaires, and purposive sampling. The proponents used different diagrams and a flowchart to define the data requirements and functionalities of the system. There is a total of 60 respondents, broken down into; one Admin, three Tamarind Experts, three IT Experts, two Farm Owners/lnvestors, five Farmers, and forty-six Students from the BSA Major in Crop-Science in PSAU. The survey result earned an overall average mean of 3.44, interpreted as Agree. The assessment indicates that the developed system meets the objectives. Because it offers an efficient and effective response to the problems tamarind farmers encounter in managing their businesses, it is determined that the established system is advantageous to the target beneficiaries, especially the tamarind farmers.
