General note ABSTRACT Tiongson, Junel L., Maniago, Kenneth Bryan G., Banag, Rannie D. Department of Computer Studies and Automation, College of Resource Engineering. Automation and Mechanization, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Magalang Pampanga, April 2019. "DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MUSHROOM IRRIGATION SYSTEM FOR PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY." Adviser: Mr. Rodel R. Pentecostes The study entitled "Development and Implementation of Mushroom Irrigation System for Pampanga State Agricultural University" was presented to the College of Resource Engineering, Automatlon and Mechanization (CREAM) aim to design and developed a system that would help the students to enhance knowledge and skills using MSWord 2016. Specifically, it provides a video tutorial to learn and explore the MS-Word 2016 interface and know the functions of each part, provides modular lessons to know the different ways on how to properly design and format a comprehensive document, provides actual activities to test the capabilty of the users in using MS-Word 2016 and providesa user's friendly interface for a better interaction of the user. The researchers used the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in developing the system. Different techniques and instruments were used such as interview, Internet and library research and survey questionnaire to gather all the information needed for the development of the study. The researchers use Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Context Diagram, Use Case Diagram and System Flowchart to examine and determine the flow and output of the program. To create and develop the front-end and back-end of the system, the researchers used PHP as their programming language, MySql to create database and HTML and Java Script to create and developed the interface. Based on the results of the survey from 40 respondents who evaluated the functionality of the system, the researchers gathered an over-all mean of 3.81 with interpretation of Strongly Agree. Therefore, it was concluded that the system really helps the respondents to enhance the knowledge on how to use MS Word 2016. The results imply that the study met all its objectives.
