General note ABSTRACT Manalo, Rose G. May 2023. EXPLORING PERCEPTIONS OF SELECTED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS N ANGELES CITY TOWARD WATER CONSERVATION, BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BIOLOGY MAJOR IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, Pampanga State Agricultural University. Adviser: Nathanicl B. Supan, M.Sc. Water conservation is widely regarded as an essential component of long-term water management. Unfortunately, the effectiveness of solutions is limited by inelastic pricing adjustments, supply hardening, and a lack of public awareness (James and Rosenberg, 2022). The study was conducted to assess the students' knowledge, attitudes, and practices toward water conservation and to determine how water conservation is integrated into the school curriculum in Angeles City. The data was obtained from 330 Grade 10 students in Angeles City. The survey questionnaire was analyzed using (SPSS) the Statistical Package for Social Sciences. Nonparametric correlations were used to test the relationship between the student's profile and their KAP. Statistical methods, such as frequency and percentage distributions, mean, mode, and KAP scoring, were used to analyze the demographic profile of the respondents and their responses to the knowledge, attitudes, and practices questions. Based on the socio-demographic profile of the respondents, 265 (80%) of the respondents' age ranged between 15 and 16; 182 (55%) were female; 193 (58%) have a household monthly income of below 10,957; and 107 (32%), were from Brgy. Pandan, in Angeles City. Results show that the majority of respondents were found to be highly knowledgeable, have a favorable attitude, and have adequate water conservation practices. There is a significant relationship between the student's school and their knowledge and practices. While there is no significant relationship between their age, sex, income, and address and the knowledge, attitude, and practices of the respondents. There is also no relationship between the students' knowledge, attitude, and practices. Water conservation is integrated into the 10th grade Science and Values Curricula. However, it is not integrated with the math curriculum; nonetheless, teachers tend to integrate the concepts of water conservation in their lessons. Posters were developed as per the result of the study's KAP analysis for the identified schools to increase their awareness of the significance of water conservation and environmental protection. In totality, results showed promising students' perceptions towards the environment.
