"MOBILE APPLIČATION FOR REGISTRATION OF SENIOR CITIZENS WITH NOTIFICATION" Adviser: Mr. Johan Winsll Felix The study, entitled "MOBILE APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF SENIOR CITIZENS WITH NOTIFICATION," was conducted to the researchers locale at La Paz, Tarlac. This study focuses on the online registration of senior citizens. The study Dbievo aimed to design and develop a mobile application for registration of senior citizens with notification. The main admin is from MSWDO staff and the sub- admin will be the barangay partiipants of the Municipality of La Paz. Senior citizens of Municipality of La Paz were the respondents on the study. Weighted mean was utilized to describe the extent of concept translation in online registration for senior citizens. The study aims to develop a mobile application called "Senior Citizen Online" that includes registration and application of senior citizen ID with SMS notification for the announcements. The app is designed to notify senior citizens about the announcements of their meeting and claiming their IDs and booklets at the MSWD office, as well as any changes in schedule due to cancellations or rescheduling. The main goal is to reduce the need for elderly individuals to leave their homes frequently for registration, membership payment, and ID collection, thus reducing fatigue and the risk of COVID-19 transmission. The researchers' respondents of this project who evaluated and tested features and functionalities of the system are the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office staff, senior citizens and the IT experts. Senior citizens and MSWDO employees are assigned with testing the system's functionality. IT experts were required to assess if the researchers system was accurate and functioning properly. The researchers used research method and research instrument in making study. The research instrument used were the following: interview, internet research and questionnaire. From the analysis of the study, the following findings were drawn : The evaluation about the proposed system the evaluation about the study obtained an overall mean of 3.49 which is interpreted as "Agree At the end of the study, there has been a notable improvement on the process of senior citizen application as the program raised efficiency in the registration process. |
