General note ABSTRACT SHAMIR S. DACILLO. July 2022. HOME-BASED ON THE JOB TRAINING ON QUAIL PRODUCTION IN BRGY. SAGUIN, SAN FERNANDO CITY, PAMPANGA. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Animal Science. Pampanga State Agricultural University, PAC, Magalang, Pampanga. Adviser: BERNARDO E. MARTIN, M.S.A. The duration of the farm practice was from July 01, 2022 to July 21, 2022 at Brgy. Saguin San Fernando, Pampanga. The trainee accomplished 240 hours of working experience in the said duration. The trainee experienced management practices about quail production. The activities in this training program taught the student trainee how to raise quails and knowledge on how to feed, clean, and record all the data gathered. The student traince successfully complctcd the training program. Data gathered indicates that 1,176 eggs were produced with an average of 56 eggs produced per day during the 21 days of training. The total amount of feed consumed by the quails was 60kg, with each bird consuming an average of 600 grams of feeds. Six quails out of 100 is documented being dead duc to the presence of stray animals like cats.
