Formatted contents note During the COVID-19 epidemic, there is a common misconception that nature is "taking a break" from humans. Instead, land grabbing, deforestation, illegal mining, and wildlife poaching have raised problems on many rural communities m the tropics. Thus, this study's mam objective is to determine the implications of plant poaching im the couservation of Mt. Arayat from the locals' perspectives found im the vicinity of the gational park. Cochran's Formula was used to calculate the sample size, a total of 600 respondents from two barangays were chosen randomly. A descriptive method research design was used in the study to measure the data im the form of survey questionnaires which was done via KoBoToolbox. Findings revealed that 54.33%o0f the respondents reached secondary level as their highest educational attamment. With regards to the findings of the perspective, knowledge, attitude and practices, 100% of the respondents have a positive perspective and knowledgeable towards plant poaching. With that, the perceived impacts based from the findings, in perspective, knowledge, attitude and practices are respondents will more likely have benefits from the mountain such as: in agriculture, tourism, and the utilization of natural resources. The study also revealed that the demographic profile of the respondents affect the perspective, knowledge, attitude and practices towards plant poaching. The analysis revealed that Republic Acts 9147 and 11684 are significant legislation as they preserve and conserve species and its habitats. Keywords: Conservation, Covid-19 Pandemic, Plant poaching.
