Formatted contents note | Rice is one of the most important needs in some cultures around the world. Pest control specifically molluscicides, whether synthetic or natural, play and important role im decreasing the population of golden apple snails. While the synthetic molluscicides have high toxicity, they have been proven to reduce the threat. However, the risk of environmental poisoning cannot be eliminated. In this study, Balakat extracts were used to reduce the golden apple snails in the rice plant. This study was conducted to determme if the Balakat talanai-mfused nanozeolite molluscicides have a sigmificant effect on the morpho-anatomy of direct-seeded rice, at different concentrations as to: the height of the plant, number of leaves, number of the leaves, weight of the plant, and length of roots. The seven treatments used were: treatment Twater (control), T-N (pure nanozeolite), T+(bayluscide), T1 (pure balakat with 400ppm, T2(pure balakat with 600ppm), T3(balakat with nanozeolite 400ppm), T4(balakat with nanozeolite 600ppm). Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was used, with seven treatments, four rephcations and four treatments. The study revealed that 600ppm Balakat with nano-zeolite obtained the highest data in terms of plant height and weight, and in the number of roots and length; however, results showed no significant different among all treatments. Keywords: Bayluscide, Nano-Zeolite, Molluscicides, Morpho anatomy, Toxicity, Ziziphus talanai. |
