Formatted contents note The purpose of this study was to assess the residents of Ayala, Magalang, and Pampanga's level of knowledge and awareness of Arayat Pitogo. In this study, @ was assumed that a minority of the population in Ayala, Magalang, and Pampanga wese unaware of Arayat Pitogo. A survey questionnaire was created to gauge respondents perceptions, knowledge, and awareness. A total of 220 houscholds in all were mcluded m this survey. Purposive sampling was employed to choose respondents from houscholds. in this study, a face-to-face interview was used to collect data from the respondents. There were two distinct portions of the questionnaires that were used. The respondent's name (optional), age, gender, and address will be collected as part of Part I's personal data collection. Their knowledge and awareness of Arayat Pitogo's current state of conservation will be evaluated in the second part (Part I). Based on the findings of this study, 18.64% of the respondents said that they were familiar with Arayat Pitogo, while 81.36% said they were not. In terms of respondents' awareness of Arayat Pitogo's uses, 100% respondents stated that they are uninformed of Arayat Pitogo's uses; 100% respondents are also unaware of the barangay's and DENR's efforts to secure Arayat Pitogo inside the MANP. Furthermore, 100% respondents had almost no idea what the barangay should do to protect arayat pitogo. Moreover, respondents are well aware that Arayat Pitogo must be protected and conserved mside MANP. The 82.72% respondents believed that conserving and protecting the Arayat Pitogo inside MANP was important.
