| Formatted contents note | This study developed a user-friendly and interactive web-based student ontine voting system for the College of Engineering and Computer Studies. This online voting system is reliable, more convenient to use, reduces time required in providing an accurate result of the election, and its design is very simple. A quantitative method was used in the study, in which survey questionnaires. were used to determine the system's performance. Moreover, purposive sampling was utilized, wherein a certain number of the respondents were selected. With the heip of different research instruments in gathering information, including survey questionnaires and internet research, the study was fully completed. The system was evaluated and survey was conducted online with selected CoECS students and ACES officers from Pampanga State Agricultural University's College of Engineering and Computer Studies as respondents. The system's performance was determined and measured using the arithmetic mean formula. The selected respondents from the locale who evaluated the system using the questionnaires strongly agreed that the system is truly helpful, easy to use, reliable in processing and holding online voting, and gives an accurate and quick results of the election. Based on the results, the system was determined to be useful in conducting the election process online. |
