Formatted contents note The National Greening Program offers a lot of potential for improving a community economic and environmental situation. To examine the economic impact of the National Greening Program, a study was conducted at the Lapaz Turu Upland Farmers Association in barangay Lapaz Turu Arayat Pampanga from July 2021 to August 2021. A total of 60 LTUFA members were interviewed as part of a residential survey. The information gathered was examined using the descriptive survey approach. The implementation of NGP improved the respondents' income by Php14,645.63 per year, according to the findings. The respondents also showed a positive attitude toward the implementation of the NGP, addressing additional income, additional food sources, and additional sources of livelihood as the three main benefits they derived from the program. This study proves that the NGP has a positive economic impact on People's Organizations and recommends that the DENR and LTUFA continue their partnership in NGP implementation, that the PO hold proper and regular meetings for better management in their community, that the program itself and its participants be better monitored to determine the desired outcome of the NGP goals, and that the PO conduct proper and regular meetings for better management in their community.
