| Formatted contents note | The study entitied "Development of Web-Based Pre Board Examination Review" that aims to design and develop a system that would help the College of Agriculture Systems and Technology (CASTech) students to take an online and offline mock examination review was presented to the CREAM. Specifically, the system was designed to heip the Instructor create questions easily and conveniently, to help the student take the examination prepared by the Instructor, to automatically check and view the result of the examination, to randomize the questions in the examination, and to setup the maximum time for each subject in examination. The system was created using PHP, a web-based scripting language, MySQL as the database, and HTML and Java Script to add beautification to the system. The researchers used Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Context Diagram, Use Case Diagram and System Flow Chart to analyze the problem and to determine the flow and output of the program. The researchers also used different techniques and instruments to collect information such as consultation, interview and library/internet research. The methods helped the researchers to conclude and determine the current problem encountered by the locale. The panelist who evaluated and assessed the functionality of the system had helped the researchers to conclude the study. The system had really helped the students to take pre-board examination in online and offline mode. It has a great benefit especially to the locale, Faculty members and students of College of Agriculture Systems and Technology (CASTech.) Therefore, it was concluded that the study met ail its objectives. |
