Formatted contents note MDL Rice Retailing was located at Purok 3, 88 Livestock Village, Ayala, Magalang, Pampanga and the operating hours were from Monday to Saturday between 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. The business firm named MDL Rice Retailing was derived from the entrepreneur's name initials. The business' tagline was "Finest Products, Finest Agriculture." MDL Rice Retailing offers newly harvested rice (Rc 222 Variety), glutinous rice, two commercial brands of rice and various types of merienda. The problem she encountered here (1) In terms of management aspect, the student entrepreneur had a difficulty in handling the duties and tasks especially in distributing large orders and delivery transactions; (2) There were some Shortages in other varieties of rice and the customers wanted to try new because of the changes in their taste and preference; (3) Cancellation of orders that were already reserved in kakanin products was experienced and she struggled in dealing with the confirmations of order; (4) Inventories were not properly recorded and occasionally encountered difficulties in recording expenses, quantities, debts and full payment; and (5) In terms of social economic aspect, the student entrepreneur had a problem in maintaining cleanliness. A lot of dust and construction materials scattered near the location of the store. The Solutions that the student entrepreneur had taken were (1) The student entrepreneur asked some help from her family members to handle the big tasks and duties; (2) She constantly monitored and checked the stocks to know if she purchased a new stock of rice variety; (3) She needed to receive a final confirmation from the customers to be sure on the quantities of kakanin products she had to produce; (4) The student entrepreneur provided a separate Notes and lists for expenses, sales, and for the full payment and debts of every customer; and (5) She constantly monitored the surroundings, maintamed the cleanliness, and requested to the owner of that construction materials to remove or adjust their things. The student entrepreneur learned that building a business is not easy, especially training days were during the COVID-19 pandemic. Entering the business industry is not all about money, gaining profit, and fame, but having a good relationship with customers and others. Moreover, she recommends that in every situation encountered in entering business, one must be passionate and hardworking to succeed. Failure is a step to success. Be humble and share the success with others to make them inspired. Just focus and enjoy every moment and victory.
