Formatted contents note Femininity is described as a "weakness" and a "limitation." Male superiority has enabled this traditional stereotypical concept, thus relegated women to the margins of discourse. This has resulted in the identity struggles of women and contributed to the patriarchal belief that women have no position in the society except in relation to men. The pressing issues on women, to wit, gender oppression and sexual objectivity, are sketched in literature. In this light, this paper aimed to analyze selected contemporary Filipino feminist poems using feminist stylistics. Specifically, it aimed to a) examine the language use in the writings of the Filipino women and how these works reflect their experiences and ideologies as women writers and b) identify the devices that demonstrate the four personas (woman's rhetoric, woman's awakening, woman's resistance, and woman's call to action) in the grammatical and meaning level. On the whole, the linguistic categories and devices analyzed in both grammatical and meaning level are nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, determiners, conjunctions, prepositions, metaphor, simile, symbolism, hyperbole, personification and irony, which were characterized by the said feminist personas. Moreover, the Filipino women writers almost shared the same language in terms of grammatical level, meaning level, and syntactic structures. The general ideologies reflected in the poems are either political or personal experience-driven, which provide the women writers convictions in pursuing their own ideals as women in connection to femininity as a strength rather than distinguishing it as a weakness and a limitation.
