Pampanga State Agricultural University, PAC, Magalang, Pampanga. Adviser: Prof. RICARDO D. HERNANDEZ JR., M.S.A The home-based broiler production program was conducted for 37 days from August 24 to September 30, 2021 at Dalisay Street Caluluan Concepcion, Tarlac. Cobb500 broilers was the strain of broiler that was raised during the student training. The broiler stocks bought at Gapan Nueva Ecija for Php 30.00 per head. Total chicks that arrived are 115 heads. The broiler used grower pen for their housing. BMEG Integra Chick Booster 1000, BMEG Integra Starter 2000 and BMEG Integra Finisher 3000 used to feed the broilers. Electrogene and Vetracin Gold were the medication used to the birds while the vaccine used are the Dissolvents Solvent and Hipraviar B1. The birds were sold and harvested at the age of 37 days with an average weight of 1.5 kg per live weight. Small scale local buyers bought the birds for P115.00 per kilogram live weight and P135.00 per kilogram per dressed broiler. Average final weight at 37 days gained 2 kg, Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) is 1.43kg, the average daily gain in weight was 39.46 grams, while the percentage of mortality was 12.17%. The total cost of production for this study was P 13,934.00, while the gross income was P 15,507.70. This study gained P1,573.70 as the net income for the whole production process and return of ~ investment (ROD 11.29 %. |
