Formatted contents note | This study was conducted to determine the growth and yield performance of westnzam varieties in response to levels of phosphorus under fahar-laden condition. The weaaesck combinations of phosphorus (P20s) levels and soybean varieties were arranged wag the procedure in Split Plot in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 'am replications. All gathered data were analyzed using the Statistical Tool for Agrwouitaral Research (STAR) through the analysis of variance (ANOVA). _ 'Among soybean varieties, PSB SY 6 (V3) and CL Soy | (V;) had a positive effect @m teanputed seed yield per hectare, seed yield per plant, shelling percentage, weight of geatts, number of pods per plant, number of filled pods and plant height, whereas the ereacest wumber of unfilled pods was recorded from PSB SY 2 (V2). No significant mmieeges were seen in terms of root length and number of seeds per pod among varieties. st On the other hand, application of soil recommendation (T2) and fertilizer 'wommmendation + 80KG P20s (Ts), regardless of the variety, attained the highest gemmputed seed yield per hectare, seed yield per plant, weight of pods, number of seeds per pod, number of pods per plant and number of filled pods per plant. Longest root seegth and most number of unfilled pods were recorded from the control (T;). Plant meagnt and the longest root length were recorded from plants applied with soil mecemmmendation + 4(0KG P20s (T3). There were no significant differences observed for seeing percentage and weight of 100 seeds. There was no mteraction effect on the weight of 100 seeds and root length; Sxywever, the highest computed seed yield per hectare was recorded from PSB SY 6 (V3) applied with fertilizer recommendation + 80KG P2Os (T4). The same treatment oomibination got the highest value with the lowest shelling percentage, most number of filled pods and heaviest 100 seeds. Cost and return analysis of computed seed yield per hectare showed that PSB SY 6 (V3) under lahar-laden condition registered the highest ROI among other varieties with 102.03% ROI, Regardless of the variety, soil sample recommendation (T2) fertilization marked the highest income among the treatments with Php 22,878.00 per hectare and ROI of 111.31%. Keywords: soybean, lahar-laden, phosphorus application, nutrient management. |
