The municipality has thirty three (33) barangays where the majority is considered vulnerable to flood risks. The spatial data and non-spatial data were gathered from offices, agencies and the internet. Using the QGIS, data and layers were combined to make maps that that would easily identify low risk and high risk area. The Evacuation Centers were based from the data given by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Candaba, Pampanga. There were three criteria in the map: low risk with a water depth of 0 to 0.5m, medium risk with 0.5m to 1.5m depth and high risk with a depth beyond 1.5m. The flood status identification on each barangay was based on the residential areas that were affected. This study provided sufficient data that will make the LGUs more equipped with information that is vital in making immediate plans and decisions, as well as quick responses to the needs of the people in certain barangays.
