BUSCAYNO School : Pampanga State Agricultural University Degree : Bachelor of Science in Biology Date Completed : December 2019 Adviser : Evelyn V.Totaan, Ph.D The aim of study was to test the clastogenicity and anti-clastogenicity of two locally produced wines, Bignay and Tamarind. Micronucleus Test revealed thatBigqnay wine is clastogenic while Tamarind wine is non-clastogenic. There is a significant reduction in the clastogenic potential of tetracycline when combined with Tamarind; hence, it is anti-clastogenic. This study may contribute a greater knowledge as regards the effects of drinking wines. vi. |
