| Formatted contents note | The study was conducted to evaluate the management practices of Ever Ani Farm located at San Nicolas, Balas, Concepcion, Tarlac. Specially, it sought to trace the historical background of the farm and management activities in terms of organization, investment, production and operation, marketing and financial aspects. Also, this study intended to identify and analyze the problems encountered by the firm, to give possible solutions, and to offer recommendations to the existing problems. Primary data were gathered through series of personal interviews with the manager and other staff of Ever Ani Farm who also contributed in compiling the necessary files in gathering needed information. Secondary data were gathered from current data available and other reading materials. The farm is sole proprietorship owned by Mr. Manny Delfinado. Financial statement and ratio were done to determine the financial standing of the farm. The result of the analysis showed that the farm is financially stable. Identification and problem analysis was done regarding the organization, production and marketing operations of the farm. The following are the problems encountered by the farm: in the organization; (1) Poor management skills that cause unmotivated farm workers; (2) Tardiness of the employees, (3) Stealing the watermelon. Alternative courses of action were formulated for the existing problems and recommendation were proposed. Based on the evaluation , the following are recommended to improve the business operation of Ever Ani Farm; (1) the researcher recommends alternative A wherein the farm should hire team management to communicate well and to motivate farm workers. ; (2) the researcher recommends alternative A wherein the owner increase salary and benefits/incentives of their employees (3) researcher recommends alternative A wherein the company should assign one (1) or two (2) employees at night shift to secure the product. |
