Data gathered in the study was statistically analyzed using frequency distribution. Highlights of the results were: Majority of the respondents were backyard raisers who practiced extensive farming.Their primary mode of marketing was through middlemen and determined the value of their cattle by means of live weight and visual estimation based on the animal's body condition.
