General note Farm practice is part of the college curriculum that aims to provide students different information and experience about their chosen profession. The farm practice was conducted at Batangas Dairy Farm Cooperative (BADACO) in Inosluban, Lipa City, Batangas from June 19 to August 2, 2019.The farm practice aims to familiarize the student trainee with the different housing facilities, tools and equipment used in a dairy farm, determine the different management practices in the farm, identify the different existing problems inside the farm and come up with the possible solutions, and to expand the knowledge and deepen the understanding and skills about dairy farm operation by applying the theoretical knowledge about dairy production learned from the university. During the farm practice, the student trainees are able to observe how the farm is managed while they learn how to perform activities like disbudding, milking, calf management, spraying insecticide to the cows, fixing broken fences and herding with the help of the farm hands.
