General note The study aimed to determine the acceptability of nile tilapia and blackchin tilapia into nuggets. Two treatments and control were used in the study: Control-commercial nuggets; Treatment 1 - nile tilapia nuggets and Treatment 2 - blackchin tilapia nuggets. Results revealed that all treatments are comparable in terms of color. With regard to odor, taste, texture and overall acceptability, the treatments are significantly different at p>0.05. results also revealed that all treatments are acceptable with a descriptive rating of "like very much."
