500 ## - GENERAL NOTE
General note The study aimed to verify the approved lease contracts in PSAU using GIS. An open-ended structured interview was also conducted to evaluate the leased properties inside the University. Pampanga State Agricultural University occupies approximately 500 hectares of government agricultural lands in the town of Magalang, Pampanga. The University has rapid development, especially on infrastructures and land use. The boundaries of the leased properties in PSAU are not projected on the University map. Therefore, it is highly recommended to project the boundaries of the leased properties. The projection and mapping of the leased properties were made using GPS and GIS application (Google Earth and QGIS). Based on the results, there werediscrepancies between the area stated on each Memorandum of Agreement and the actual area gathered from the field survey. Overlapping of boundaries were projected. Thematic maps, specifically, land classification maps were created to validate the land use of each leased property. The data collected from the structured interview and billing statements were used to evaluate the objectives of the projects.
