General note This research study aimed to identify the location of accident prone areas in Magalang, Pampanga based on 2017 records of the Unit Crime Registrar of Magalang Police Station. Geographic Information system was utilized to locate the accident prone areas. It provided the tools in mapping and analysis of the study that expedites the long process of mapping Google Earth images and the barangay boundaries served as base maps. The findings of this research study revealed the geographic locations of the accidents and the locations of the accident prone areas found along the major roads of Magalang. Three were listed as the "most at risk" of accident. These were Santa Rosario St. and Magalang to Mabalacat road intersection, major road from Magalang to Angeles, situated in the boundary of San Pedro and San Pedro 2, the major road situated in Sta. Cruz, between the two junctions of Sta. Cruz streets and a major road from Magalang to San Fernando. Proper investigation of these locations should be done to conclude proper counter solution which hopefully, could help in the decreasing the number of accidents in the future.
